Promotion
at the end of the year will be based on attendance, continuous Assessment in
every subject, grades and marks obtained during the year and overall conduct
record.

During
an Academic year each student will have 6 Evaluations (examinations) namely;
3 Mid Term Exams, Quarterly, Half-yearly, and Annual Examinations.

The
evaluation system for each student is in the form of Grades. The Grades are
as follows :
A+=90 to 99
Very Good;
A=75 to 89
Good;
B=60 to 74
Fair;
C=40 to 59
Satisfactory;
D=below 39 Not
Satisfactory (Failed)

Attendance in all the
Evaluations for classes X & XII is compulsory. No exceptions can be made in
this regard.

Failure
to appear at any Evaluation can seriously affect a student's academic
progress and promotion

Any student who fail to
maintain an 80% attendance during an Academic year can be abstained from
writing the Annual Examination and will not eligible for promotion.

A Student who has missed an
exam (apart from Annual) or has less than 80% attendance due to illness will
be awarded the required mark or attendance upon producing a written
application with proper medical certificate. No consideration will be made
if the student misses more than 2 Terms Exams in one Academic year.

Students are
not allowed to have in his/her possession any book, references, pocket book,
notes, or papers whatsoever during the examination. Any student found having
any such thing, will lead to cancellation of the particular paper and the
student concerned will be awarded a zero.

There is no arrangement for
"re-examination" or "promotion on trial" for students who fail to appear for
an examination without a genuine reason.

Students suffering from
contagious diseases will not be allowed to appear for the examinations.

A
student should pass in all main subjects so that he/she may be considered
for promotion.

Use of calculators, mobiles
phones and other electronic equipments are strictly prohibited during an
examination.

In
all questions of promotion or failure the Principal's decision is final.
