Maria Montessori Central School is a school with a difference. It was established by the Alleppey Educational Trust, a charitable trust. The main objectives of the trust include promoting and supporting socially beneficial causes like education, healthcare and sports. The school is co-educational and follows the world famous Montessori System of education. This method was introduced by the famous Italian Educationalist Dr. Maria Montessori. This revolutionary Play Way Method of education is based on the belief in the students’ creative potential, their drive to learn and right to be treated as an individual. The School emphasises on the character and personality development of the student rather than confining him/her to the pages of the books.

Maria Montessori Central School is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi and has classes from Kindergarten to +2. Equipped with all the facilities of modern education, the school prepares all their students with moral and spiritual coverage to face the challenges of the modern world. The school is currently managed by the Universal Empire Group (UEG). UEG is an international establishment that is headquartered in Cochin, India and are pioneers in the field of education. Apart from this school, the Group also manages Medical Colleges and Management Institutes.
